DATTA Queensland is dedicated to the development of Design and Technology education in Queensland schools and includes financial members from across the state, in all sectors of education; primary, secondary and tertiary.

The 2024 Design and Technology Teachers’ Association Queensland annual state conference showcased cutting-edge approaches that drive enhanced processes, innovative design solutions and collaborative team dynamics, while fostering enthusiasm among Design and Technology teachers throughout Queensland.

The conference welcomed Design and Technology teachers from across Queensland’s public, private and independent schools, aimed to energise and inspire educators at all levels – from pre-service to primary, secondary and tertiary technology education.

Uniting experts, academics and specialists across various disciplines through an engaging program of lectures, intimate group sessions and hands-on practical workshops. Participants will gained access to knowledge, methodologies, materials, equipment, ideas, trends, resources and industry connections, empowering them to champion and implement Design and Technology education within both the QCAA curriculum framework and the broader Australian National curriculum.
